Akshay Kumar has delivered one more blockbuster and it’s his latest release Mission Mangal. Akshay along with Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi are on the Cloud 9 as the film has crossed 200 crore mark and has set new benchmark. Ever since the film hit the theaters, they have been garnering wide appreciations. And we must say the actor is basking in the success of his back-to-back hits. So much so that the Akshay Kumar’s latest released has surpassed Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger’s collections.

Here’s good news for all those who have liked Mission Mangal. Akshay and team starrer has crossed Rs 200 crore in 29 days. With hitting double century Mission Mangal has set a benchmark. Informing about the same to Akshay’s fans, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh Tweet, “#MissionMangal sets another new benchmark in #India: Becomes highest grossing #IndependenceDay release, surpassing #EkThaTiger... Fox Star Studios' third film to cross ₹ 200 cr mark: #Sanju [₹ 342.53 cr], #PremRatanDhanPayo [₹ 210.16 cr] and now, #MissionMangal [₹ 200.16 cr].”

His another tweet read, “#MissionMangal crosses ₹ 200 cr... #AkshayKumar’s first double century... [Week 4] Fri 73 lakhs, Sat 1.40 cr, Sun 2.10 cr, Mon 61 lakhs, Tue 1.01 cr, Wed 54 lakhs, Thu 63 lakhs. Total: ₹ 200.16 cr. #India biz.”

Taking to Twitter Akshay Kumar thanked one of his followers for a creative video as film crosses 200 crore mark. In his tweet, he wrote, "This is such a lovely creative Bhushan...our film, Mission Mangal just like this jigsaw puzzle came together with every piece fitting in perfectly and with your love & appreciation reached the 200 crores milestone"

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is riding high on his career success. The actress has different project lined up. The superstar will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Good News opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. A few days back, the actor announced his next Prithviraj backed by YRF. He will also be seen playing Bachchan Pandey and Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi co-starring Katrina Kaif.
